Saying It All In Songs

For reasons I’d like to keep to myself, I’ve been gravitating towards songs that are a bit depressing… Though I’m not actually depressed, I’m just at a point in my life wherein I’m very much comfortable to waddle with these types of emotions, siguro I got used to the feeling already. Sabi nga sa isang quote na nakalimutan ko na kung sino nagsabi… “Life in reality is sad, happiness is only an interruption we always yearn to last”.

One of the song I’m currently listening to right now is an accidental download, Sara Bareilles’ “Between The Lines”. I’ll let the song speak for itself.

A friend told me about this song, I really fell in love with it. It encapsulate what I’m feeling and going through right now. Kalapana’s “Real Thing”.

Another Sara Bareilles song, She’s one of most talented singer/songwriter to emerge these past few years. The music video is genius, I was speechless!  Mr. O, I think this one is for you.

This song introduced me to Sara Bareilles, the song is really cool, pang-asar to the max! Sara Bareilles’ “King of Anything”.
