I know! This is like my third movie in a week, it’s just that I have so much free time, it’s summer and apparently professors also gets to have 2 months hiatus from the school scene, without pay (urgh!) since, this is just my first summer with the school.

I have planned several things to do this summer but an unfortunate event happened, someone’s occupying my room as of the meantime, the house is always jampacked with people and I have to make tipid, just in case….. All my “things-to-do’ this summer got thrown out of the window. Major kainis!

Well, enough of the ranting…

I was out yesterday, went to school to process my clearance then off to Manila to while away the time and also to inquire about my Masteral. I’m planning to take my MA at my alma mater,Philippine Normal University, bukod sa mura kasi government school, hindi rin matatawaran ang image ng alma mater ko, Center of Excellence in Teacher’s Education, san ka pa?! I got a bit emotional nga nung pumasok ulit ako…Nostalgic!

After ko sa PNU, I met up with a friend had dinner then went home.

But before I actually went to PNU, I watched Date Night, alone, which was fine. Ang dami kong kasamang nanuod na thunder cats, apparently they have free movies as senior citizens.

Date Night is sobrang nakakatawa! Great movie for de-stressing, I love Tina Fey, sobra! and of course Steve Carell never fails to make me laugh. Isama mo pa ang katawan ng lolo Mark Wahlberg mo, ay naman! ulam na ulam!

Happy yung premise ng movie, about a couple who stole a reservation and ended up being chased by goons, well, for mistaken identity. Ako naman, I judge the movie on what it promise to bring, Yes! natuwa ako ng bonggang bongga! nawala ang stress ko kahit sa dalawang oras lang.

It’s a classic Hollywood film in the making… I cannot even pick a favorite part kasi the whole film was super fun. Carell asking Wahlberg to put on a shirt was so funny, the couple’s game while on their date, guessing the story of other couples on a date, ohhh! the time, when they go back to the restaurant to get the phone number of the Triplehorns! the confrontation with the real Triplehorns and the freaking car chase! Funny!

A Pre-Valentine’s Date

As a pre-valentine date, Mr. O and I watched Valentine’s Day, my movie choice. He found it a bit dragging, I think not, it just took time presenting all the characters and their connections with one another, I think it made more impact that way…It’s a heart-warming movie, one that you would want to watch if you’re feeling a bit skeptical about love.

I love love love Jennifer Garner’s storyline, her confrontation scene at restaurant and her “pinata scene”. Winner line: “And that’s what you call, open heart surgery!”

Big Surpise was the Bradley Cooper and Eric Dane twist, I’ve already guessed from the start that Eric Dane’s character is gay but it never occurred to me that his partner was Bradley Cooper’s character. kagulat and kakilig at the same time.

Grabe! bagay sila!

Pero mas bagay kami ni Topher Grace….

he’s that lampayatot kid from The 70′s Show…

Seriously crushing on him now… I can’t find a shirtless photo of him e but he’s buff now.

Adam Lambert Is Officially OUT!

What a way to come out!! He’s such an inspiration, he makes coming out so hot…Rolling Stone and all..such class!

Here’s snippet of his interview:

Adam on coming out: “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay…. I’m proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It’s just another part of me [But] I’m trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader.”

Adam on realizing he was gay growing up: “I started to realize I wasn’t like every other boy. I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen.”

On his run on American Idol:”I was like, ‘I’m going to glue rhinestones on my eyelids, b—-!’ Right after the finale, I almost started talking about [being gay] to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler.’ I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine bulls—. I need to be able to explain myself in context… Clay Aiken’s gay, and I’m gay, and we couldn’t be more different. The only thing that is the same about everyone in the gay community is that we’re gay. … Why can’t we talk about a human community?”

On getting attention from fangirls: “I loved it this season when the girls went crazy for me. As far as I’m concerned, it’s all hot.”

On sharing a bedroom with Idol winner Kris Allen: “They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.”

On gaining self-confidence through Idol: “I finally checked into my self-worth for the first time in my life, and the fact that it coincided with Idol is so sweet. I mean, I still have moments where I think, ‘Oh, my skin is terrible, and I’m a little fat — I should really go to the gym more.’ But for the most part, when I look in the mirror now, I finally see somebody who can do something cool.
